The 2023 Ardbeg Day release introduces Ardbeg Heavy Vapours, a limited Committee Release bottled at cask strength (50.2%), exclusively for Ardbeg Committee members. As part of an experimental distillation, the purifier—normally responsible for balancing fruit and smoke—was removed, allowing heavier vapours to influence the spirit. The result is a bold, untamed expression.
